Google could launch a 7-inch tablet

Google is preparing to enter the world of tablets with a model developed under its own brand, not very expensive and equipped with a 7 inch screen.

According to analysts, the tablet could go into production sometime during the month of April, reaching the market price falling near the amount of $ 200, competing with the  popular Amazon Kindle Fire tablet.

Initial production volume is estimated at 1.5 – 2 million copies. The tablet produced by Google will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, whose interface is shown on a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels, slightly higher than the 1024×600 pixel screen display of its direct competitor Amazon Kindle Fire.

The strategy chosen by Google to promote the new product remains largely shrouded in mystery, because after completion of the acquisition will expand its portfolio company Motorola offer by at least three models of tablet.
In this context, including the model with a 7 inch screen seems a logical choice for Google, the company thus ensured and market presence tablets with 7 inch screen, where rival Amazon has managed to deliver by the end of last year approximately 5.3 million tablets Kindle Fire.

The fact is that the market with 7 inch screen tablet will become more competitive in the future, once Apple comes with the 7 inch version of the iPad tablet. Fortunately for Google, Apple tablet will probably reach the market until the end, giving enough time for a product company able to survive the competition from Apple.
