Acer Allegro – the first Acer smartphone with Windows Phone 7.5

Acer has launched its first smartphone formally using Windows Phone 7.5. Allegro Acer fall within budget smartphones, in anticipation of a price is quite advantageous for the new model.

The technical specifications of this device and its appearance have been made public since September at IFA Berlin this year.

 Here is some of the information that we have about Acer Allegro.

The model is equipped with a 3.6 WVGA capacitive screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Its dimensions are 116x59x13 mm and weighs 126 grams.

Acer Allegro comes with a single-core processor operating at a frequency of 1GHz, 512 RAM and a Mango operating system. Regarding the connectivity, the phone will have Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G. It also has 8 GB internal memory and card slot.

The phone is addressing to the social networking fans and has preloaded a few applications of this effect (eg: Facebook, Email, IM, Twitter). It also has preloaded Hub for Xbox Live and Office Excel documents, Word, OneNote and PowerPoint. The device is equipped with digital compass.

Acer Allegro comes with a 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom and LED flash. It also comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion 1300 mAh with a range that allows up to 6 hours talk time.
